FOOD: Amazing ymmm ymmm's as always!!!
  Come!
     Enjoy breakfast
Enjoy fellowshiping with your Brothers in Christ
Feed your spirit on the Word of God!
A message was brought thru video that spoke to all our
hearts
about our brothers and sisters who suffer for the name
 of Jesus
in lands foreign to America! Shame on us! We should
 understand
the realities that they face (imprisonment) while
we enjoy
our freedoms! This
world is NOT our home!

November 10, 2007 - Well, you missed it!
The breakfast crew outdid themselves this time around. Jason cooked
up a wonderful bowl of home fries with a definitive North Jersey flair.
Harley was perfecting the round pancake and Dave, Mr. Bridge to
Nowhere, Kaltenbach was mixing omeletes to order. Oh, and of course,
Chuck's coffee was as potent as ever!

TOPIC: Life in the Trenches!

Wayne opened with a short testimonial of his life in the school system,
the military services and how history shaped his life. He had a beautiful
slide show to America the Beautifulwhich just showed how God has
blessed America. Wayne worked fromPsalm 139:5-11
"You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to
it. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your
presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in
Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell
in the remotest part of the sea,  Even there Your hand will lead me, And
Your right hand will lay hold of me. If I say, "Surely the darkness will
overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,""

Wayne continued on how important our history is to who we are and that
our history is a product of the hard work of those that went before us.
One thing that Wayne said that made me think is, "the Constitution of the
United States is to us as Americans what the Bible is to us as Christians."
Powerful.

October 13, 2007  - Well, you missed it!

After a sweet breakfast and lots of java...

Tom Tatlow spoke at the men’s breakfast  and if you were not there you

missed a great time.  Tom spoke of his journey from a youth growing up in

Beach Haven, moving onto his education at Philadelphia Biblical University

to his 20 years with Trans World Radio and his newest calling into the

mission field of Thailand.  He used the illustration of Jonah as one being

called by God but refusing to yield and going his own way.  It was only due

to God’s second calling that Jonah followed although somewhat reluctantly.

So too was Tom’s journey as he contemplated what he had learned of the

message of the Gospel and reflected upon all the people of the world never

having the opportunity to enjoy a relationship with Christ.

Tom found in his ministry in Africa, Swaziland to be specific, that God’s word

knows no boundaries.  The many languages of Africa that would seem to be

evident boundaries were conquered over and over again as God provided for

His people.  Recently Tom has resigned his position at Trans World Radio to

move onto a missionary journey with Pioneers.  He will be taking his family,

wife Carol, son Steven and daughter Rachel with him to Thailand to help

educate the Christian pastors there and plant churches to bring God’s word

to Thai Buddhists.  Tom will be leaving his Columbia University bound son

Tom Jr here in the states.  As they start on this journey the Tatlow’s will

need to raise $20,000 in departure expenses and an additional $500 per

month in support to be added to that which they already have.

As a church we were challenged to pray for them as they adapt to the Asian

culture, that God would watch over their children and provide the necessary

monies for this journey furthering God’s kingdom.  We need to especially

keep in prayer Tom Jr as he will be separated from his family and for the

teenaged Steven and Rachel as they do what few teens do, attempt to live

in a new and challenging Asian culture.

God bless you, Tatlow family.

 Don't miss the next one!
